Dreamsong Books are being brought to life…
with Dreamsong Music Lab. Currently under construction at 743 Dekalb Ave, Brooklyn, NY, this pianists and music-makers paradise brings the mindset and practice of Dreamsong Books into a real-world community. Members will have the freedom to explore their musical practice, learn to produce and engineer recordings, begin songwriting and printable pdf musical notation, and experiment with synthesizers, mixing, and video editing for content creation. Featuring local artsis, weekend events and gatherings, and “one-offs” such as movie-night lectures like The Music of Star Wars, Dreamsong Music Lab extends the boundaries of what people see as “music lessons” into the contemporary practice of creativity with community and modern technology.
An Upright piano, quality Yamaha U1 or equivalent.
Keyboards: 61 key or more, Midi capable, with weighted or semi-weighted keys. (i.e Roland Go series, Korg B2, etc.)
