  • New Music Makers Camp

    Noon-3PM. Monday-Friday, Ages 8-13.

    Spend your summer making music! This day camp is designed for New Music Makers - students will learn the building blocks of music, from music theory to piano to songwriting, and even dabble with improvising and harmony. Students will learn how to learn, build confidence through music, make friends, and be ready to record!

  • Recording Camp

    Noon-3PM. Monday-Friday, Ages 8-13.

    Session 1: July 20-24

    Session 2: August 10-14

    Get real studio experience recording your own songs, originals or arrangements, in our main Dreamsong Music Lab studio! Students will learn to write and arrange their songs in preparation and practice for recording, apply strategies to deal with performance anxiety, and gain first-hand experience to music and video editing softwares. Students will walk away with Youtube-ready content of their music, and the tools to create again and again.

  • Jazz Piano Intensive

    1-230PM, Tuesday-Saturday, Ages 14+

    Session 1: August 18-22

    Session 2: August 25-29

    An in-depth study of jazz and harmony. Your teacher will assign a specific course for you, per your individual experience and level. Practice, repetition, and incremental growth is only the beginning. Learn to play a ballad with 5-note voicings. Explore harmonic substitutions and functional harmony with all sorts of 7th chords and their related jazz scales. Approach the blues with a more thorough understanding of tradition and styles. Dedicated practice inside & outside of class is expected.

    This course includes all-access Dreamsong Membership for the duration of the course.

Dreamsong Music Lab

is a piano-centered music studio built on strong foundations and the rich language of jazz harmony. The piano is a powerful place to begin to unlock endless ways to explore music-making—revealing how chords connect, how harmony moves, and how to listen with awareness.

We work with beginners, adult hobbyists, piano teachers, professional touring musicians and even a few Broadway actors in central Brooklyn. Whatever your level, you can sharpen your skills or explore new creative paths. Lessons integrate piano study with practical theory, composition, production, and recording, so students don’t just play songs—they develop fluency, confidence, and creative independence, all while saving the world with the power of music.

    This space is available for Members to use for their own projects, reservable any time we’re open. Use this laptop, or bring your own, and step into a cozy, distraction-free workspace.

  • Keyboard Room

    For small group classes: piano, music theory and songwriting, our keyboard classroom is meant for hands-on learning. The keyboards are also reservable by Members to use for private practice time.

  • Creative Studio Desk

    The beating heart of Dreamsong Music Lab! Includes state of the art equipment for studio lessons, recording and producing, video editing and creative makings of all kinds. Set up for hands-on experience to create almost anything you can imagine.

  • Synths and Sequencers Desk

    A place for intuition and experimentation. We use our synths and sequencers in private lessons, studio bookings, music production, and in-class demonstrations involving the science of sound.

  • Seating Area

    Are you a parent chaperone looking to wait and listen in? Have some coffee. Read a book.

  • Workshop Space

    Many of our classes and workshops take place in the modular studio. Gain clear insights with shared screens, including notated music via iPad, and take advantage of our small, personally-focused group offerings.
